OC Information
Jun. 20th, 2016 01:23 pmName: Jack Jones
Species: Demon
Locations: Hell, global
Age: Appears to be in his mid-30s, actually several centuries old
World State: Heaven and Hell are real places of eternal bliss or eternal damnation. Angels and demons walk among the population, blending in as they determine who is in luck, and who is out of it.
Jack's role in all of this: As a high-ranking demon in the Hell enrollment department, it is Jack's job to work with angels to investigate people when a conflict arises as to whether Heaven or Hell should claim a soul. This usually becomes a problem when someone has done both good and evil in their past, creating uncertainty moving forward.
How he does the job: Jack will sneak his way into that person's life in some manner or another. A co-worker, boyfriend, neighbor... whatever it takes to get an inside look at the person behind the deeds written on their 'list.' He takes notes on their conduct, ones that will be shared with the angel who takes over after him. Once they've both completed their assessments, the notes are forwarded to their superiors, who will then decide whether or not the person's past automatically damns them. In other words, the encounters will help determine whether redemption is possible in the future.
Note: As part of his job, Jack will know about any major good or bad deeds your character has done. He won't know their motivations or thoughts, however, only the actions themselves.
